Community Information
Alva
Alva, a community of nearly 6,000 residents, is home to the main campus of Northwestern
and has a long history of being a community that features small-town charm and security,
while providing an enjoyable atmosphere for students. Community businesses cater to
Northwestern students and many actively recruit on campus for employees. Alva also
features a wide variety of off-campus housing options for students.

Enid
Northwestern established a campus in Enid in 1996 to serve the largest city in northwest
Oklahoma. The city of 47,000 is the home to Vance Air Force Base and is a regional
commerce and service center, featuring commercial air service and a wide variety of
shopping and entertainment options.
Woodward
Northwestern-Woodward also was established in 1996 in a progressive city that has long
been a supporter of Northwestern. Woodward is a center for energy-related services and is
considered a regional commerce and service center for the tri-state region of northwest
Oklahoma, southwestern Kansas and the Texas Panhandle.
