The Delta Omicron Chapter of
the Delta Zeta Sorority is highly committed to service. The philanthropy
of the Delta Zeta Sorority is Speech and Hearing Impaired. The local chapter is planning a trip to the Oklahoma
School of the Deaf and has numerous projects aimed at speech and hearing
impaired.
In 2003, the Delta Omicrons hosted a bake sale and a lemonade stand at the Woods Country Free Fair, those two fundraising items helped raise donations for Northwest Family Services to help individuals with speech and hearing impairments. The chapter is also active in other aspects of philanthropy and service. Many women are active tutors, mentors, hospice volunteers, and HeadStart Volunteers. |
