PUBLIC RELATIONS, CAMPUS MEDIA ON THE MOVE, LITERALLY                                                           

The Northwestern Public Relations offices located in the Jesse Dunn Annex will soon have a new home.

Within the next couple of weeks, Lois Hudgins and Valarie Case, public relations specialists, will pack up their belongings to swap office space with the Northwestern radio station in Vinson Hall.

KNSU Radio will then be setting up shop in the public relations area, and renovations to the ITV classroom and laptop lab in the annex will allow NWTV channel 7 to move into that space.

With the move, all of the Northwestern mass communications media – newspaper, radio and television – will be in the same hallway.

The ITV classroom and the laptop computer lab have been moved to the Industrial Technology Building.

A name change also will be occurring for the Public Relations office. As of July 1, the office will become University Relations. As seen below, Steve Valencia will remain the director of the office and will become an associate vice president. His office will remain on the second floor of Herod Hall.

All of the phone numbers for each office that is moving will remain the same.
