Community members are encouraged to attend this free concert and bring friends.

On Monday, Oct. 6, the Northwestern Concert Band will perform “Tribute to Summer,” in Herod Hall Auditorium. The band will begin its performance at 7:30 p.m.

Songs on the playlist include “Casey at the Bat,” by Randol Alan Bass, with narration by Kyle Newland, Blackwell sophomore; “As Summer Was Just Beginning (Song for James Dean),” by Larry Daehn; “Sea Songs,” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; “The Walking Frog,” by Karl King; “Snakes!” by Thomas Duffy; and “Flight of the Bumblebee,” by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov, arranged by Albert O.
