NORTHWESTERN’S RYAN HINTERGARDT PLACES IN NAIA COMPETITION

            Ryan Hintergardt, sports information director for Northwestern Oklahoma State University, won two awards at the annual publication contests of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA).

            Hintergardt placed sixth in the combined basketball brochure contest and tied for 10^th place in the softball brochure contest. 

            Annual NAIA publication contests include game programs, brochures and feature writing.  Best writing contests for NAIA-related events also are offered.

NAIA-SIDA consists of all Sports Information Director members from nearly 300 institutions. NAIA-SIDA also works to develop agendas and policies within the NAIA.
