January 24, 2008 Northwestern Oklahoma State University will hold its spring semester Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) Blood Drive Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Enid, and Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 6-7, in Alva. The Enid drive will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the commons area at 2929 E. Randolph. The Alva drive will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the Ranger Room of the Student Center.
January 9, 2008 Randy and Carla Mitchel of Alva have pledged a gift of $8,000 to Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Vision for Victory athletics campaign. The unrestricted gift will be used to help construct the new football locker room complex at Ranger Field, the centerpiece of a four-phase renovation of the football and baseball venues. “The Mitchels have long supported Northwestern athletics in many forms and their willingness to step up and make this gift is a testament to their commitment to Northwestern and its students,” said Dr. Janet Cunningham, president. January 22, 2008 The owners of K&S Tire, Scott Riley and Kevin Isenbart, have demonstrated their support for Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Vision for Victory athletics campaign by making a recent gift. Riley and his wife, Christie, represented the company in presenting the funds to Northwestern. “It amazes me the impact that Northwestern has on Alva, and this project will have a great impact on the community,” said Riley. “It’s going to take everyone’s participation to make Northwestern’s vision a reality.” The gift will be used to help construct the new football locker room complex at Ranger Field, the centerpiece of a four-phase renovation of the football and baseball venues. January 23, 2008 The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will host a reception for members of the Northwestern Alumni Association and Dr. Janet Cunningham’s President’s Associates on Thursday, Jan. 31, in between the Lady Rangers’ and Rangers’ basketball games against Mid-America Christian University. The reception will be held in the south classroom of the Wellness Center. Read more...
January 23, 2008 The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association will host a reception for all Oklahoma City-metro area alumni and friends when Northwestern visits the Oklahoma City University Stars on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008. The reception will be held on the south end, upper level of Abe Lemons Arena in between games. This is a wonderful venue since alumni and friends can enjoy refreshments and visit while continuing to watch the games. Read more...
