Testing Information

ACT Residual at NWOSU

Pre-registration at the Academic Success Center is required. Call (580) 327-8149 to schedule a test. Payment of $35.00 is to be made at Business Office in Herod Hall prior to testing.

For admission to the test, students must present

A.   a photo ID - driver's license 

B.   the receipt from the Business Office

Test results will be mailed to students within a week following the test date unless the student makes arrangements to pick up the test results in person. Privacy laws prevent the release of scores to anyone other than persons who sit for the exams.

The testing site is Industrial Education in Room 119. Testing begins promptly at 9:00 AM for morning sessions and 1:00 PM for afternoon sessions. Students should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the test is scheduled to begin. LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. Testing will be completed at approximately 12:30 PM for morning sessions and 4:30 PM for afternoon sessions.

Testing dates for Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 are

Morning Sessions (9:00 AM - 12:30 PM)

Afternoon Sessions (1:00 PM - 4:30 PM)

***ACT requires a 60 day waiting period between residual examinations.  Calculators are now permitted for use on the mathematics portion of the ACT examination.  For information regarding the ACT, please see the official website.  www.actstudent.org
